Update: Registration for our “Tech Demo” is now closed! We will send you an email to the address you registered to access the demo. This email will contain all the information you need to get your hands on, and start playing Project Automata.
It’s been a while since we sat down and wrote a Blog Post, and the reason for that is quite simple; We’ve been super busy preparing our game for the Technical Demonstration release!
On the 7th June 2016, 18:00 (CET) we will be releasing our Demo for you to test. Your feedback will be vital to shaping Project Automata, and while what you’re going to be testing is just a fraction of the final game, it’s still important for us to get your opinions, to allow us to gain a better understanding of what you, our fans, are looking for.
To gain access to the upcoming Tech Demo, you need to register for your copy. You can do so here.
We hope you’re going to love Project Automata as much as we love making it, so please let us know what you think, report any issues you find, and of course, please spread the word and help Project Automata grow. Thank you.

Q: What exactly is a “Technical Demonstration”?
A: Also known as a “Tech Demo”, it’s the first playable version of the game, that showcases just the core functionality and design of the game. It often doesn’t have many features, but is used to demonstrate the ideology and concept of the game, and is an extremely helpful build to show potential investors, or fans, so you can gain feedback and continue to iterate and improve on your game before development goes too far.
Q: Can I make videos or share screenshots of this Tech Demo?
A: No. We don’t want our Tech Demo to go too public, which is why we’re sending out copies only to those who have registered. It’s also important that people who don’t quite understand the concept of a Tech Demo don’t get the wrong idea about our game, and we’d really appreciate it if people could refrain from sending the wrong message about our game and the progress so far.
Q: Does this Tech Demo realistically reflect the total design and work done so far?
A: Nope. The build you’re going to be playing is already quite far behind in terms of design, implementation of features and iteration on our intentions. There is already a lot more done, and these exciting new and improved features will be available in our Alpha Test that will be coming at some time in the future.
Q: I feel like I could bring something to your team, do you have any jobs available?
A: We’re always on the lookout of inspirational, talented and creative individuals. You can learn more about our available positions on our Careers Page.
